Ava's Demon Wiki

Overview

Odin Arrow is first introduced as a classmate of Ava Ire and Maggie Lacivi, however from a different planet. The cover of a student was a facade. His demon is Pedri Nanezgani, and they are not pacted. He speaks with a noticeable stutter that worsens when nervous, and talks in maroon text in a purple speech bubble. He first appears on page 0011.

He claims to be 16 years old to Ava (and also presumably to the TITAN schooling planet), but is actually 17 going on 18. According to his sisters, Crow and Raven, he is the most "stupid" of the Arrow siblings. This may be because of his speech impediment.

His last name, Arrow, is an allusion to the word arrogance, as associated with his demon's sin.[2]

Appearance[]

Odin has slightly messy, dark violet hair with big, bushy eyebrows, and a slight beard. He has pale skin with a slight purple complexion and dresses in dark clothing. His face turns notably purple when blushing.

Odin has violet eyes and bright crimson colored square pupils.

Personality[]

Odin's associated sin is Pride. Odin has displayed this trait numerous times before, such as refusing to apologize to Maggie even if it meant crashing into TITAN's training planet. He also refuses to shake Gil's hand, seeming to feel that it's 'below him'; this could also be related to Gil's status as a follower, and Odin's personal dislike of TITAN

He can be insensitive at times, yet he still is able to see and understand when someone is upset or distraught. After Ava falls from the tree branch, Odin gives her his jacket, possibly feeling guilty for how he was treating her. He also seems to be strategically minded, shown in his attempt to get Ava to hijack the TITAN ship and escape with him as well as their escape from the refugee center.

He also seems to have a more playful, teasing side, particularly towards Ava, who he seems to get along with despite their arguments. It was also stated that Odin lacks a lot of self confidence in himself and is very insecure. Odin's chosen shape is a square representing his stoic and unyielding personality, as well as his distinctive pupils.

Even with Odin being both insensitive and abrasive towards others, he still is known to be somewhat self-conscious. This is seen when he reacts embarrassed and saddened by Ava telling him that he smells bad. This also becomes clear when Crow and Raven begin to tease him and remind him about his failure of bringing Maggie to his home planet.  Please Note that he stops stuttering when he is lying.

2381a

Odin was born November 1st, 3013 and hails from the planet Aedinfell. At some point in his youth, Odin became the host of Pedri Nanezgani and later started smoking Florem Mortem. When Odin was very young, he had a close bonding experience with his mother. During Gildhaust, the season of harvest (before the planet's eternal winter), the two were surrounded by golden leaves, fruit, and animals. His mother took his hand and placed it on the head of a sheep-like animal, reassuring Odin that it wont hurt him (speaking their native language). Odin clutched a golden flower and hugged her as she carried him, while she tells him that nature does so much to enrich their lives, it deserves their love and respect.

2272

Odin was a bit over 10 years old when he fell, and most likely, died. This incident might've been when Pedri begun possessing him. When trying to help Magpie find music with a broken radio from Olai's scavenger trash, they accidentally discovered the sound that hosts emit. Although they were unable to fix the radio, Odin was able to salvage the radio card using Magpie's phone device. Instead of music they found a single silent signal radiating from her eyes. That was when Magpie confided in him on what she believed the radio was and read him the tale she found about vessels.

Magpie later told Olai that she was a host to which Olai denied. When discovering that Odin was also a host, she wanted to tell Olai that both her and Odin were hosts to prove to him. However, Odin for forbade her from doing so, because he feared Olai would think he's crazy and kick him out. After that, they discovered more signals by pointing the device to the sky and noting down their coordinates (this is seen in Odin's notebook), which is how he found Maggie. After Magpie disappeared, Odin decided he would search these signals to prove his brother wrong, maybe find Magpie on his own, but most of all make his parents proud.

Odin taking Maggie to his spaceship

After being warned by his brother that scavengers were going to destroy Ava's and Maggie's home planet, he goes to rescue Maggie Lacivi. As she is convinced that he is only a creepy stalker, however, he is only able to save her by kidnapping her when a scavenger attack knocks her unconscious. He brings her aboard his ship and prepares to fly back to his home planet. Without his knowledge, Ava follows him and sneaks onto his ship.

After witnessing the destruction of her home, Ava sneaks up behind him to knock him out with a wrench. He notices her and threatens her with a gun. Wrathia Bellarmina takes control of her body and insults him, so he ties Ava up next to the unconscious Maggie. He explains that he will drop her off at the nearest planet. As he goes to re-navigate their journey, Maggie awakes and attacks him. She rejects his romantic advances and uses her vines to tie him up. The space ship begins to plummet down, and he begs her to allow him to save them. When Maggie refuses, Odin calls her a monster, triggering her to destroy the space ship's control panel, as she knows she will be the only survivor in the crash.

Odin survives the crash, thanks to being encased in Maggie's vines. He remains unconscious for a while in Gil's house.

Odin reading his book

When Odin awakens, Gil tells him the unfortunate fate of his spaceship. Distraught and a bit angry, Odin searches for his things in the ruins. While he worries about his missing ring, Odin's little sisters, Crow and Raven Arrow switch out the red gem in his ring with a tracking device and they throw it to Odin, who believes it is really his ring. He also manages to find his coat and book.

When Ava escapes from Gil's house, Odin confronts her, and is concerned. He remarks upon how the lock in her chest looks painful, and as Ava is about to run away, Odin picks her up and hangs her in a tree. Odin tells Ava to hold still as all he is going to take a picture, but Ava kicks the phone aside and tells Odin about how she was angry at him for kidnapping Maggie and saving no one else, and wanting to leave her on some deserted planet. Ava then breaks the tree branch that she was on by accident and falls. Odin then feels bad for Ava and gives her his jacket to cover her chest drawer.

Odin talking to Gil about TITAN, unaware that Nevy is resting on him.

Odin asks Ava if she knew about Maggie's abilities, to which she replies no. They are interrupted when Gil comes to get them. When Gil tells Odin and Ava to come with him, Odin tells Gil that he could drop him off at his home planet. Gil says that his ship is only programmed to go to TITAN headquarters and, to Odin's surprise, Ava decides to come with Gil. Irritated, Odin follows after the two. Gil leaves Odin and Ava on the ship so that he can go get something he forgot. Odin pauses to look distastefully at the TITAN propaganda posters before walking deeper into the interior of the ship. When Odin notices Ava looking up Maggie's shirt, he blushes and questions her. Ava tells Odin that it's "not what it looks like", but he starts teasing her, and asking if those glasses were x-ray glasses for seeing up peoples shirts, which causes Ava to blush. When Gil comes in and starts the ship, Ava begins questioning TITAN and mentions Paradise might not exist, causing Gil to act defensive. Odin backs Ava up by telling Gil that if no one leaves Paradise, or tells others about it, then it might not even exist. This causes Gil to become even more irritated. Odin listens to Ava as she starts to say that TITAN might be a bad guy, but when she is too shy to say it, he tells Gil that paradise is probably not even real and that TITAN possibly uses that tale to bait other lifeforms into working for him. Nevy Nervine, Gil's demon, perches on Odin's shoulder and listens to him, possibly starting to believe that what Odin said about TITAN is true. Gil tells Odin and Ava that he will reach Paradise after all his hard work, and that he'll send them "photographic evidence" to prove it.

When Gil arrives at the TITAN planet he tells Ava and Odin to go wait outside by the guards. Outside, Odin becomes stressed at the amount of guards there are, hoping that he and Ava could run and sneak onto a cargo ship.

1031

Odin, annoyed at Ava running off

As Gil comes out of the ship to go talk to the guards, Odin starts telling Ava that they could sneak back on board and possibly override the ship's programming, but is cut off when Maggie shoves them aside to go talk to Gil. After their faces are cataloged by a TITAN soldier Odin tells Ava the plan to escape. She proceeds to follow Gil and Maggie to the refugee center leaving Odin behind, Odin reluctantly follows her anyway. When Gil forcefully shoves the two of them into the refugee center, Ava sadly comments that she does need some new clothes and that she was starving to which he responds saying she wasn't and pulls open the center door to let Ava and him out. When Ava questions him ever being a normal person, Odin grabs her and runs off with her while she complains about him being too smelly to get new clothes. He angrily tells her that this planet is not a resort and that followers don't care about their needs and that they would put Ava back in the system and send her to the planet for troubled children and have her work in a factory-where if she didn't cooperate they would forcefully subdue her. Ava sits down on a bio hazardous waste dump and questions why Maggie didn't get detained, he sits beside her and answers saying she agreed to join TITAN as a follower and thinks she has ulterior motives for it. When Ava asks how Odin knew all those things, he says his parents taught him those things when he was younger and proceeds to ask Ava to come with him to his planet. Although she said she didn't even know him. Odin leaves Ava, saying she could find her way on her own and he starts to smoke.

1102

Odin through the limbo lenses.

Ava finally agrees to come with him, but first they must convince Maggie to come along to. He says that they were the most least likely people to convince her and that she deserves what's coming to her because of how awful she acts. He agrees to at least try to get her to come along as long as she doesn't attract too much attention, and stated that the same goes for Ava, who he nicknames 'firefly', as long as she didn't continuously turn to a glowing star and to get it under control. Odin, remembering Ava's comment about him smelling bad, asks if that was true to which she apologises for saying that and says he actually smells good, like smoke and pine trees. This causes him to blush and urges them to keep moving. As he looks around, he finds the streets to be almost clear and tries to recall where the enlistment center is. Ava looks at him through the limbo lenses to find him covered in red rune-like designs where there was a bright glowing line on his side. When he finds the coast clear, he tells Ava to get ready but finds her staring at him with the lenses asking if she was even paying attention and tells her to get rid of the lenses, calling the lenses pervert goggles. From behind her, Pedri appears.

1127

As Odin remarks that Ava acts like his sisters, he is surprised when Pedri creates a swarm of purple dragonflies. He ignores Pedri and begins the search for Maggie along with Ava. Later they proceed to look for Maggie and they end up in a gathering of followers and get trapped in the crowd. He holds hands with Ava so they don't get separated and start searching for Maggie while Ava spends an uncomfortable moment as her social anxiety kicks in. Moments later Ava sees Maggie out of the crowd with Gil and they go straight to Maggie only to bump into a guard, when they tell the guard they are trying to leave the guard tells them they can't leave because "Strategos Six is about to talk", they turn back to find another way out but Odin is caught by Raven who tells him to back up quietly while using a gun. Ava and Odin get separated leaving Ava alone in the crowd while Odin is lead by Raven away from the crowd straight to where Crow is, Raven pushes Odin to the floor and Crow tells him to wear handcuffs, when he refuses Raven points the gun at him and fires a warning shot as both sisters insist Odin wears the handcuffs, when he agrees Crow takes a picture of him and reveals they are about to have a reward for tracking him. Raven reveals that Crow is about to see girl named Merita, and implies she is going to have a date. Odin states his disapproval by telling her she is still too young to have dates. Crow, embarrassed, starts making fun of him and calls him "an 18-year-old virgin nerd lord" to hurt him for embarrassing her. The twins then lead him away from the crowd, leaving Ava alone. The twins inform him that Olai knows that Odin crashed the ship, and that he has "failed the mission". They prepare to take Odin home and try to get him to accept that he has failed. However, Odin refuses to abandon the mission, delivering a monolouge about how important the mission is to him, and how he wants to complete the mission for the sake of his family.

Odin then demands that Crow and Raven return home and tell Olai that not only is Odin going to complete his mission, he is going to bring back twice what he was sent for. The twins refuse to take hims seriously, but after an explosion causes the room they are in to erupt with lava, the twins try to escape the burning facility, leaving Odin to complete his mission (though also leaving him for dead).

1574

Odin hearing the cargo vessels while looking around

Odin is left in the lava room alone with Pedri. While Odin hopes it was only the Scavengers who caused the explosion, while Pedri expresses his wish for Odin to die before he ever gets the chance to find out. When Odin wakes up after Ava's rampage, he finds his handcuffs unlocked and goes looking around, passing by Ava's footprints and Strategos Six's sword sticking into the ground.

1648

"Who are you really, Ava Ire?"

He sees the cargo vessels flying off above him and looks around some more before he hears Ava talking to him, calling him a "spineless deserter". He looks up, saying he knows the voice, before the source leaps down from above and lands in front of him. Looking at her, he recognises the person as Ava. After saying that she didn't like his vanishing act but managed to decorate the place, Odin asks in disbelief if she was the one who had caused all that explosion and heat. When she asks him to tell her what would tie the place up together, he finds himself unable to answer before she sets the statue of TITAN on fire. He is shown to be coughing until she collapses. While Ava is on the ground, Odin approaches her and tells her he didn't mean to desert her and asks if that was the reason she turned into a Vengess. When he realises that she hasn't noticed the changes to her body yet, he asks her in shock if she had noticed how she had horns, her clothes, all of her power and the fire she literally "willed out of the air". He goes on to say that if she truly had decimated TITAN HQ all on her own, then there was no way she was a human with power of this magnitude and that she has the aspects of something "not from this dimensional realm". He then asks her "Who are you really, Ava Ire?". When Ava falls unconscious, he frantically shakes her in an attempt to wake her up. At that moment one of Maggie's leaves fall on Ava's face. He instantly recognises it and realises that Maggie is still near. He cracks his knuckles and picks Ava up. He says that they should go and that they'll find Maggie and finish the mission. Later, when Maggie and Gil have just arrived at the cargo vessel, he yells for them to wait and hold the door. However, Maggie attempts to close the door to keep Odin, who is carrying an unconscious Ava, out. He leaps inside and lands right in front of Maggie and Gil. Maggie and Gil both accuse him of being in league with Ava in destroying TITAN HQ and how they've come to get revenge and cover their tracks, with him reacting to disbelief at the accusations. He says he's not trying to hurt anyone, to which Maggie asks him why he had to get on their ship specifically and not on another one, to which he tells her he would have had a ship had she not crashed it.

1708

Odin, in the middle of Maggie and Gil's argument, looking bored and lighting his pipe

In the middle of their argument, Gil interrupts, confronting Maggie about her crashing Odin's ship since she had told him Odin was a fugitive and had crashed the ship in madness. Odin shows sarcasm at the idea of being called a fugitive and quietly explains what really happened while Maggie yells at him to shut up, calling him a stalker. He asks her to tell Gil how she choked him with her plant arms, to which she says she won't talk about it until he explains why he's "obsessed" with her. Gil interrupts again, saying on how he recognises her leaves and had to pry Odin out of some branches woven tightly around him with the same leaves. Maggie then admits to crashing Odin's ship. While Maggie and Gil argue, Odin is shown in the background looking uninterested and takes out his pipe in the middle of their argument and lights it, most likely smoking Florem Mortem.

1822

While Maggie is apologizing to Gil, Odin sits beside a window looking out. As Gil becomes redlisted, Odin brushes it off as no big deal, and that panicking won't help his situation. Gil becomes angry at being accused of overacting, and that Odin has the nerve to accuse him of that. Gil exclaims that his life is over, ruined, everything he's worked for gone. Odin seeming uninterested states that yeah, that sucks. Gil argues with Odin, stating maybe if he wasn't such a degenerate he might understand the gravity of his situation. Odin begins standing and calmly says that that was totally unnecessary and that he is not a "degenerate." Odin, giving his second point in the argument, nonchalantly states its a big world and that Gil will just have to find a new cult. Odin now feeling uncomfortable, tries to backtrack and says life as a traitor won't be so bad once you travel far enough. Gil was offended that Odin would even suggest such a thing. Odin tries to reassure Gil that the edge of nothing has a few planets that need doctors. Gil believes it was really nice for Odin growing up accusing him of having so few responsibilities that he could act so careless and suffer no consequences or regrets.

As Ava wakes up and begins to talk with Maggie, he remains silent. Later as Ava's yelling at Nevy's mind probing, Odin comments that he's confused and that she's not making any sense.

2027

After Gil yells out Nevy's name Odin sounds it out, confused by it. Odin then talks over Pedri and suggests they check the oxygen level and asks if Gil's seeing things. He then takes notice of how Pedri comments on Nevy's meltdown. He then appears to realize something involving Gil and Nevy from Pedri's comment. As Gil throws Wrathia's plan book onto a shelf he appears surprised like he's about to say something. After Gil and Ava get into their fight, where Gil ends up hitting Ava after she threatened him, Odin appears shocked and saddened when Ava begins to cry. As she's crying he looks as though he wants to rwach out for her but doesn't[3]. As Ava walks away into the corner, Odin confronts Gil by sarcastically saying "Nice way to go, Gil" and questions if he learnt that from TITAN. Gil states that it was an accident to which Maggie comforts him. Odin picks up the glasses that fell of Ava's face after Gil hit her. Odin examines them before putting them on his shirt. He walks up to the monitor of the cargo vessel where he states that he thinks resting is a good idea as they have twelve hours in Titan Time until they land.

2100

Maggie responds slightly shocked and upset at the information and Odin affirms that that's what the itinerary says. He also says that he can't access any kind of coordinate panel either meaning that the paths of the cargo ships are controlled remotely. Maggie asks him what that means and Odin shows and tells her that they're stuck on board until they arrive at the Planet Excessa of Nimis. Maggie is frustrated by the fact they have to spend twelve hours on board but Odin says that they actually got lucky considering that it's an unmanned flight. This doesn't comfort Maggie. Odin ends up opening the storage container which held food products from IRIS FARMS. Maggie is very excited at this. Odin hands some of it to Maggie and tries to hand some food to Gil but Gil doesn't accept. Odin looks frustrated at this. After Gil says that he feels sick considering his current situation, Odin tries handing him an 'Appl Bar' and tells him that he'll feel better once he eats. Gil blushes but still denies it and tells Odin to stop getting him into trouble. Odin tells Gil that he (Odin) isn't his enemy and hasn't been trying to get him into trouble. He reassures him saying that he isn't a failure and can be happy beyond living the life of a follower.[4] Odin also offers to help him runaway from the Followers to which Gil reacts in shock and blushes[5]. Ultimately, Gil shuts down Odin's attempts at consoling him[6]. Odin gets frustrated, gives up and places the food in front of Gil, telling him good luck and that he'll need it.

2119

During Ava's panic attack, Odin comes in to check on her, bringing her snacks and returning the book that Gil threw. Ava responds agresively at first to which Odin walks away but she calls out to him to not leave her and that she doesn't want to be alone. Ava calms down a bit more, and Odin comforts her before offering snacks. The two eat together, and Ava proceeds to question him, curious about where he came from and why he was on her schooling planet. Odin then tells her about his planet, the destruction of his sun, the starvation and tragedy that befell his people, his missing sister, Magpie, and his mission to find a host or someone powerful to bring back to Olai in exchange for information about what happened to Magpie. He also informs Ava of a shocking truth: the Scavengers are also TITAN's technology, and he purposefully destroys people's lives so he can pretend to save them, all from the made-up threat. Ava mentions Wrathia and Odin asks who she is. Pedri exclaims saying that she's his wife. Ava informs Odin on how she's on a mission of sorts. She also tells him about how she made a pact with Wrathia for a new life instead of dying. Odin also notices her horns, and she proceeds to freak out about how "ugly" she's become, now that she looks like Wrathia.

2240

Pedri grows very defensive of Wrathia and instructs Odin to tell Ava to retract her statements. As Pedri begins ranting, Odin pulls out his pipe. All the while Pedri continues to torment him as Odin grows frantic in his attempts to light the pipe. Ava takes notice and lights it for him using her powers. Pedri angrily vanishes once Odin begins smoking. As he calms down, Odin asks Ava about the drawer on her chest. Ava explains that it is based on a desk back on the re-education planet that was significant to her and Maggie. She also explains that the drawer serves as a portal between her and Wrathia, and she uses it to transport items like the Limbo Lenses. Odin then brings the broken glasses he took up to his eye, as a drop of the Lenses' matter enters it. When he opens his eyes back up again, his vision replicates the lenses, and he sees Ava as Wrathia, but as he rubs his eyes his vision returns to normal. Ava tells him she needs the glasses in order to search for Wrathia's warriors, which are also trapped in other lifeforms like herself, as its part of their pact.

2267

Odin remarks saying its incredible to have made a deal with a "goddess", which Ava doesn't understand why he calls Wrathia that. He explains that she reminds him of the tales of his people in Aeidnfell, which told there were gigantic, other worldly beings that created the universe. They were four supreme creators with overwhelming destructive power, and as they fought for space in their realm they exploded into hundreds of gods and goddesses, dispersing across the cosmos to create new domains. The new gods fought in the name of their creators, and the battlefields they made would become the source of all life. So, the cycle of life and death, the balance of order and chaos, and the nature of every living being, reflects the struggle of the Four Creators to this day.

Ava asks if Odin believes those stories really happened, and he says he didn't use to, but since then his mind changed. He tells Ava that his people's ancient texts also told about "cosmic vessels" (doing so he slips up and almost admits to being one). These vessels were said to be people who embodied a spirit of a Giant God, and had the power to bring great change to their surroundings. Odin believed a vessel like that could save their dying planet, and so he embarked on a mission to bring back a vessel and prove to his brother he isn't useless, and that was his reason for kidnapping Maggie in Chapter One. Ava is surprised and asks as to how he knew Maggie was a "vessel", and Odin reveals vessels actually emanate a frequency, which is silent to normal ears, but he was able to take note of it using a Scavenger radio he found. The first frequencies he found was actually from his sister Magpie, as she herself was a vessel too.

2282

Cutting back to the present, Ava asks if he discovered any other Cosmic Vessel to which he lies once again and says "yeah...at least on Aedinfell". He also tells Ava of the night that he and Magpie discovered several stronger signals after they pointed the device to the sky. He explained that Maggie's signal was one of the strongest so he believed she'd be easy to track down. However, when he finally found her, his mission fell apart.

Odin highlights that he'd hoped along with proving himself to Olai, he'd discover Magpie's signal again. He also states that he'd mostly wanted to make his dead parents proud of him. Odin says that it's not important now since the Vessel Device is broken. Ava then realizes the device Odin is talking about was the one she destroyed in Chapter Eight, and feels bad for it. She then suggests she help him on his mission, even though she doesn't think her own powers could help his planet, they could search for the other vessels together using the Limbo Lenses. Odin is touched she is willing to help him, however Ava also asks in return for Odin to help her fulfil her pact taking down TITAN. Odin is shocked at the suggestion and thinks she's joking. He tells her to back out of her pact, but Ava explains that's not possible, and in doing so she could turn into a monster.

2315

Odin's hand inside Ava's mind

Ava then gets agitated by her drawer, saying its itchy and giving her splinters, and Odin suggests she takes it out, which Ava hadn't thought of. When she does, the left over space reveals a void filled with stars and clouds. Ava cant touch it herself, so Odin reaches in to check if its hollow. When he does so, we see a giant purple hand phase through the drawers inside the mind. Wrathia immediately reacts to his scent, thinking that it's Pedri. Odin then retracts his hand embarrassed, saying he didn't think that would happen. Ava tells him she feels like a freak, which Odin empathies with and shows her a scar he has on his side, saying he's a freak too. Ava is surprised saying its "gnarly" and looks like a zipper, and Odin says he had to sew it up himself. When Ava asks how he got it, Odin looks sad as he recalls that when he was around ten years old he was somewhere he wasn't supposed to be and he fell. We see a brief flashback of young Odin falling in the snow while clutching the Arrow family ring. He then points out that he has a similar scar on the top of his head, hidden by his hair. Ava suggests they're not so different after all, and apologizes for the mean things she said to him in the past. Odin forgives her, saying they're a team now. Ava is moved by this and brought to tears, hugging Odin, that doesn't know how to react.

Odin then appears from around the corner, and jumps in surprise from what he sees. The face of Tuls appears in front of him instead of Maggie's, from the effect of the Limbo Lenses on his eye. Maggie snaps at him for suggesting there was something wrong with her face, as Odin rubs his eye and the vision disappears. Odin corrects his response, saying his eyes where playing tricks on him. He then turns off the light of the vessel, saying he was thinking of getting some sleep. He then turns to Gil and asks, though hesitating, if they met each other before in the past. Gil is offended by the suggestion, saying he only knows other followers of TITAN. Even so, as Odin walks away we see Gil look at the empty wrappers of candy that Odin left him, and he blushes.

Odin returns to Ava, where she is nested on top of all the candy wrappers she ate. While settling down himself, Odin asks Ava if she thinks Gil is strange. Ava agrees, saying most followers of TITAN seem strange to her. Odin then says he was thinking about how strange it was to find Gil living all alone on that planet. He wonders if that's how all of TITAN's followers live, out in the middle of nowhere. He turns to Ava to find her already asleep, and smiles to himself.

As Odin drifts off to sleep he dreams of the bonding experience he had with his mother during Gildhaust. As Ava explores her mindscape, she eventually enters Odin's dreamscape. However, it is vastly different that what he was initially dreaming of. Ava then stumbles across a cemetery, paying specific focus onto a singular grave. The headstone is that of Odin's mother, and father. The grave itself is empty save for Odin who is tucked away into a corner. Odin looks very pale, with red eyes. Ava asks if he's alright to which Odin responds saying that he can't climb out of the grave he has dug. Ava says that the grave is shallow enough that he can pull himself out, and that she'll give him her hand to help pull him out as well. Odin says that it's all his fault, and to leave him be. Ava reacts slightly disheartened, but then jumps into the grave and says that it's alright and that she'll come to him. The grave, however, has become a large icy ravine, and not the shallow pit it once was.

2615(d)3

Ava then rises back to the surface of the water after descending into the river at the depths of the ravine. A young Odin, who's stomach and head are bleeding (the wounds he received from the incident where he fell), is seated on a rocky mound. This rocky mound has arrows, swords, helmets, and spears coming out of it. Odin then says that "it's a lot deeper than it looks, isn't it?". He says that it's alright, and that many Great Queens, and Kings have fallen down there. As Ava comes swimming towards him in an attempt to save him, Odin continues. He says that it's all his fault that he fell down here, and that in the end he couldn't save them. Ava tells Odin that it's only a bad dream. After this, is the stark revelation that Odin used to be the heir of the Arrow Family. As black figures with many eyes and crowns emerge around him, young Odin says that he's a useless heir, and that worst of all, he couldn't even save himself. The hands and arms of these dark figures fully grasp around him, covering him almost completely.

Ava becomes frantic at the sight of this, and eventually reaches young Odin. She continues to plead to him to snap of it and to realise that it's only a bad dream, a very bad dream. The figures almost look as though they're melting during this. Ava ends up grabbing Odin out of the mess of the dark sludge that were once the figures. Snapping him from their grasp. Once held in her arms, Ava looks down and sees herself looking back up at her. The dream later descends completely into Ava's nightmare.

2764

Odin later awakes and is seen rummaging through a cargo bin by Ava. Ava calls out his name to which he notices that she's awake. Immediately, Ava asks if Odin is alright, considering the events of the nightmare. Odin responds confused by saying that he's fine. He then explains to Ava how he was trying to find something useful until he came across the pyramids that explode into little surprises such as Chipi plushies, and water bottles. He explains that while going through the cargo he found 'necklaces'. These 'necklaces' are the tri-pendants as seen in the animated video "Rise and Shine".

Ava looks slightly upset to which Odin affirms that he's going to keep his promise and says that they'll fulfil her pact together. Odin also points out that it'll be difficult for them now since they've been red-listed, so it'd really help if Ava made amends with Gil. Ava realises that Gil is also a vessel, alongside Maggie, and points out how she said horrible things to him. Ava frantically questions herself on why she did that and Odin advises her to take it easy and to not set herself on fire this time. Ava then goes on to attempt to make amends with Gil, and to not set him "on fire, this time".

After Ava's conversation with Gil and Maggie, Odin enters the main area where he points out that they're about to land. Gil is startled and blushing when Odin appears. Odin, Maggie and Ava are all looking out the windows of the Cargo Vessel admiring the view of Excessa. Maggie and Ava have a conversation with each other, specifically on how Maggie could see herself living on Excessa. Odin interrupts their conversation by reminding Maggie that they're currently on a TITAN wanted list on a TITAN controlled planet and that as soon as they land the Titanauts will be looking for them. Maggie ignores this and tells Gil that he doesn't need to hand himself in and that they can live together on Excessa because it's owned by TITAN. Gil responds saying that he doesn't think that's how that works.

Maggie and Ava are crouched down and looking out through the thin crack of window with Odin beside them. Maggie asks where they're going and that it looks like that they're about to crash into "that giant triangle thing". Ava questions on what it is and asks if there's water coming out of it or going into it. Odin says that he's not sure and that it's bizarre looking. Stating that it's as if it's an irrigation system of some sort whilst also a mega structure.

Emris and their group begin to "snag" the cargo vessel and begins to rapidly bring it down. Gil gets nervous when Odin mentions that he sees people which Ava questions are Titanauts. Maggie asks what they're supposed to do and Odin responds saying they need to formulate a plan. Gil looks off to the side nervously.

Odin comes up with the plan of hiding into the cargo bin. Maggie begrudgingly accepts this plan before dragging Ava with her to the bin. Ava threatens burning their supposed threat as she is dragged off. Odin questions if Gil is going to hide. Gil doesn't answer. The side effects of the limbo lenses liquid are still prevalent in Odin. Odin sees Navy with her hand on Gil's back, Nevy stares right at Odin. Odin asks Gil to promise him that if he doesn't change his mind, to not rat them out. Odin continues by saying he hopes that Gil does hide and wishes him good luck. Gil blushes faintly in response.

Relationships[]

Maggie Lacivi[]

Odin rescued Maggie when Scavengers destroyed her schooling planet. In the beginning, Maggie called him a "stalker" and even went to the principal because she thought he would kidnap her. Maggie strongly dislikes Odin, uncaring even of whether or not he'd die during the crash of his ship. They do seem to be on slightly better terms with each other

Ava Ire[]

Ava climbed aboard Odin's ship just before her schooling planet was destroyed. At first, Ava fears him, but after making a pact with Wrathia, she is only upset towards him for threatening to leave her on a planet alone. Odin and Ava grow more trusting as the comic continues. Odin is shown to care about Ava in some way, as when he showed guilt for leaving her alone in the crowd. This may foreshadow to Michelle's suggestion a romance between the two characters.

Gil Marverde[]

The first few times they interacted they seemed to not get along very well. Odin is skeptical of Gil's faith, going as far as refusing to shake his hand, and seems to overall consider Gil to be effectively brainwashed. However, their relationship isn't overly antagonistic. Gil currently has a a crush on Odin considering the animated video "Gil's Dream" and the fact that he blushes in the cover art for Chapter Twenty Two, and multiple times when Odin interacts with him. Whether these feelings will be requited is yet to be determined. Moreover, Gil does get a bit annoyed when overhearing Odin and Ava interact, this could signify future envious behaviours that Gil may display. Most interestingly, Odin asks Gil if they had met before to which Gil hesitates before answering and brushes it aside by saying he has only ever known other followers[7].

Pedri Nanezgani[]

Pedri is Odin's demon. He and Odin haven't performed a pact yet. The two have an extremely antagonistic relationship and share a mutual hatred for one another. Odin frequently tries to tune Pedri out by smoking Florem Mortem, while Pedri torments Odin and, like his wife, resents being confined to an inferior creature. The first time they had explicitly communicated in the comic, Pedri wished death upon Odin[8], showing his contempt for him. They currently don't conversate a lot, considering that Odin didn't know who Wrathia was [9] (or that Pedri had a wife at all[10]) despite Pedri being very much in love with her. Pedri's dislike towards Odin is further demonstrated when it's shown that he took the form of Odin's dead mother[11] to play up on Odin's guilt for her death[12]. This seems to have been a somewhat frequent occurrence considering Odin's reaction. He wants to be free from Odin[13].

Raven Arrow and Crow Arrow[]

Odin's twin sisters, the two seem to rank higher than him in the hierarchy of their family, with Olai at the top. Although they annoy him, Odin is overprotective with them. The twins do bully him frequently and don't seem to like him very much. This is also supported by the fact that Raven was actually going to shoot him. However, they did listen to him when he was explaining that he took his mission for the good of their planet and for Magpie, as well as trying to 'set things right' in their household. After the devastation of TITAN H.Q, Crow reacts in slight shock at Olai cutting Odin off[14]. This somewhat hints that Crow does care about Odin, to an extent.

Olai Arrow[]

Odin and the twins hold Olai in respect, knowing not to cross him. Odin seems very distraught when Olai's ship crashes and is unable to be flown. He also seems to fear Olai in some way. Odin thinks that Olai doesn't care about anybody but himself[15]. He despises Olai[16] a lot as Olai (and his friends) go to planets that are about to be destroyed by Scavengers, to see what they can enjoy[17]. He did care enough about Odin to send both of their sisters, and a ship to retrieve him. But he does later completely abandon Odin when he finds out that Odin is on a Titan criminal database. Odin wants to prove himself to Olai[18]. Whether the brothers were ever close is unconfirmed.

Magpie Arrow[]

Odin and Magpie were close. He accidentally discovered the signal when he was trying to help Magpie find music[19]. Magpie was most likely his favourite sibling (as Michelle said he had one) considering his shaky relationship with the twins and Olai. Both were given a lot of grief by their siblings, Odin by Olai, and Magpie by her sisters, thus the two most likely grew closer as a result. Odin had hoped that in his search for a vessel that he'd discover Magpie's signal again and find her without Olai's help. Odin seemed to have cared for Magpie a lot. This care was demonstrated by the page where he freaked out slightly when Magpie was leaning towards the balcony[20].

Odin's Mother[]

Odin seems to have a lot of love for his mother. She was his favourite family member[21], and seemed to have been very close. She was very gentle with him when he was younger.. He has a mission from both her and his father that he wishes to fulfil. The fact he was chosen for this mission, and not his other siblings, suggests a level of trust that both of his parents had for him. Ultimately, Odin wants to make her and his father proud. Odin also continues to wear her ring. He also feels guilty over his mother's death, which Pedri used to antagonise him[22]. Both her and Odin's father taught him that it was important to research those who have power over a person's surroundings[23].

Odin's Father[]

Not a lot is known about their relationship, but, he appears to have loved his father. For instance, he still feels guilt over his father's death, and wishes to fulfil a mission that both of his parents gave to him. By fulfilling this mission, Odin wishes to make him proud[24]. Both him and Odin's mother taught him that it was important to research those who have power over one's surroundings[23].

Theories[]

Zippercomp

One consistent symbol in Odin's past is zippers. This can be seen in the flashback of Odin and Magpie finding the vessel frequencies, when Pedri peels back his skin like a zipper to reveal a figure resembling Odin's mother[25]. Another, is the scar Odin got after his accident (which is presumably related to how Pedri is bound to him), that appears to glow when looking at it through the Limbo Lenses. When Odin shows his scar to Ava, she remarks that it looks like a zipper[26]. He also has a similar zipper-shaped scar on the top of his head, hidden by his hair.

As seen in other pacted hosts, like Ava[27], the object and place chosen for the door into the mind is often related to an important object or event in one's past. All this has caused some to theorize that once Odin has made a pact with Pedri, his scar will turn into an actual zipper, and will give access to his mind through it.
